Diet for the PR Manager: What content to consume to stay on topic?

To develop effective communication solutions, PR managers to be versed in a variety of content as well as auto mechanics in a variety of car models. Therefore, the classic rules of information filtering are not suitable for the modern communications specialist.

Rule 1. Diversify your diet

I suggest dividing any content into two types: feed is a unique product and buzz is a feed based product.
For example, the new Netflix series is a feed, and movie reviews are a buzz. Human nature always pushes us to «tunneling» — focusing thinking on a limited number of subjects in order to optimize brain activity.
